What it's for

Copying trades placed on one NinjaTrader 8 leader account to follower accounts, with per-follower sizing, NinjaTrader ATM strategy support and optional Follower Guard protections, run locally inside NinjaTrader on each computer involved rather than in the cloud.

Who it's for

  • NinjaTrader 8 traders running the same trades across several evaluation, funded or personal accounts
  • traders who manage exits with NinjaTrader ATM strategies and want followers to run the same strategy
  • traders whose accounts all connect through NinjaTrader on one computer, or on computers they control
  • traders comfortable reading NinjaTrader's Log tab and checking follower positions at their broker

Strengths

  • Runs inside NinjaTrader 8: copying between accounts in one NinjaTrader on one computer needs one licence and no internet relay, and a one-time lifetime licence is available alongside a one-year licence.
  • ATM Copy can have each follower run the leader's NinjaTrader ATM strategy, with each follower's ATM exits in their own OCO group from version 1.7.0.0; followers with ATM Copy off receive copies of the leader's exit orders instead.
  • Seven copy methods, including Ratio, Pre Allocation and account-value methods for stock accounts, plus Cross Order for mapping one contract size to another, such as ES to MES.
  • Follower Guard's optional protections, their timers and their limits are documented in detail, including Log tab codes for each action and version-specific fixes.
  • From version 1.7.0.0, with its position re-read setting on (the default), Replikanto asks Rithmic for a follower's real position before its own flatten actions and Follower Guard act; if Rithmic doesn't answer within 750 ms, the action uses the position NinjaTrader shows.

Limitations

  • NinjaTrader 8 and Replikanto must be running on every computer involved, each computer needs its own licence, and FlowBots supports Windows only.
  • When copying over the internet, the leader can't see remote followers' positions or open orders, and some Follower Guard actions don't work for them; the documentation reviewed doesn't say whether the same applies on a local network.
  • Internet copying uses Submit credits paid by the leader; a leader on NinjaTrader's Simulated Data Feed or Playback connection never sends trades to remote followers.
  • ATM Copy applies only to trades placed in NinjaTrader Desktop with an ATM strategy, and a strategy with the same name and the same configuration must exist in every NinjaTrader involved.
  • Follower Guard reacts after a set delay rather than preventing problems, its two timed flatten options are off by default, and its out-of-sync and opposite-direction flatten timers do not act on Pct Change followers.
  • Support and updates are included for the first year only; the lifetime licence keeps working after that, but new versions need a paid extension whose price isn't published.

Best for

  • NinjaTrader 8 traders copying their own trades between accounts connected in one NinjaTrader, or between computers they control on a local network.
  • Traders who rely on NinjaTrader ATM strategies and want followers to run the same exits.
  • Traders who prefer a one-time licence to a monthly subscription and accept running NinjaTrader on every computer involved.

Not ideal for

  • Traders who don't use NinjaTrader, or who want a copier that runs in the cloud without a computer left on.
  • Leaders copying over the internet to followers on other people's computers who need to see and correct those followers' positions directly.
  • Mac users who don't want to run Windows in a virtual machine.
  • Prop-firm traders who haven't confirmed that their firm and account type allow trade copiers.

Replikanto is a trade copier that runs inside NinjaTrader 8. It watches one account, the leader, and repeats its orders on other accounts, the followers: in the same NinjaTrader, on another computer on your local network or, with paid credits, on a computer anywhere over the internet. It’s made by FlowBots. This review is based on FlowBots’ product page, store, terms and help centre, checked on 18 October 2026. We haven’t tested Replikanto ourselves, so it doesn’t assess copy speed, reliability or how often followers match the leader.

What Replikanto is

Replikanto is a NinjaTrader 8 add-on. It needs NinjaTrader 8.1.6 or later, and 8.1.7 or later to copy between Playback accounts. FlowBots supports it on Windows only; on a Mac it can run in a Windows virtual machine, which FlowBots doesn’t help set up.

It copies orders placed through NinjaTrader’s Chart Trader and SuperDOM, ATM strategies and OCO brackets, with market, limit, stop market, stop limit and MIT orders. When the leader is a Tradovate account, FlowBots says orders placed in Tradovate’s web or mobile apps or in TradingView are copied too. Accounts can be on Rithmic (including prop-firm accounts on Rithmic), Tradovate, Interactive Brokers, other connections NinjaTrader supports, and Sim or Playback.

A local add-on, not a cloud copier

The main decision is where the copier runs. Tradesyncer runs in the cloud: it connects to each broker account directly, and copying doesn’t depend on the trader’s own computer. Replikanto runs inside NinjaTrader. NinjaTrader and Replikanto have to be running on every computer involved, and every computer needs its own licence.

That trade-off works both ways. Copying between accounts connected in one NinjaTrader on one computer needs a single licence and no internet relay, and the lifetime licence is a one-time purchase, although updates after the first year need a paid extension. But if that computer, NinjaTrader or a broker connection stops, copying stops with it. Traders who already use NinjaTrader and want followers to run the same ATM strategies are the natural fit; traders who don’t use NinjaTrader aren’t.

Same computer, local network or internet

Replikanto has three ways to reach followers:

For internet copying, FlowBots’ documentation adds some conditions:

For remote copying, FlowBots also says copying is paused during internet or broker disruptions, and that it doesn’t guarantee followers stay in sync with the leader.

What the leader can’t see on internet followers

This is the biggest practical limit of copying over the internet. FlowBots’ guide to remote copy trading says the leader “cannot directly monitor the remote followers’ setups, accounts, positions, or open orders”, because remote followers don’t receive the leader’s positions or working orders, and that some Follower Guard actions don’t work in remote mode. FlowBots places the responsibility for checking that follower positions are closed and orders cancelled on the leader, and suggests messaging remote followers directly. The documentation we reviewed doesn’t say whether these limits also apply to followers on a local network.

For both local network and internet followers, the leader’s Replikanto shows each other computer only as on, off or away. A computer is shown as away when it didn’t receive a trade or returned an error. For internet followers that are away, FlowBots suggests switching them off until the problem is fixed, so that credits aren’t spent on copies that aren’t delivered. FlowBots also says the leader can’t rearm follower accounts on a remote Replikanto; that has to be done on the follower’s own computer.

ATM Copy vs copying the leader’s exit orders

Each follower has an ATM Copy setting, and it changes how exits work:

FlowBots documents several limits:

If NinjaTrader can’t start a follower’s ATM strategy, the follower doesn’t copy that entry. From version 1.7.1.0, if NinjaTrader had already sent the follower’s entry, Replikanto tries to cancel it rather than leave it without a stop and target; cancellation isn’t guaranteed. If the entry filled fully or partly before it could be cancelled, or NinjaTrader refused to cancel it, the follower can be left holding a position that no ATM strategy manages. Replikanto doesn’t close that position: the trader has to check it and protect or close it.

Sizing and Cross Order

Replikanto has seven copy methods: Exact Quantity, Pooled Quantity, Ratio, Pre Allocation, Net Liquidation, Available Cash and Pct Change. FlowBots describes the last three as methods for stock accounts. Cross Order lets a follower trade a different size of the same product, such as MES when the leader trades ES; FlowBots’ default map covers 36 futures families. Market Only copies only the leader’s fills, as market orders, so remote followers can fill at a different price from the leader.

The copy method also affects when a follower counts as out of sync. From version 1.7.0.0, exact methods must match exactly, while methods that round each entry down tolerate a small shortfall. A Pct Change follower is never marked out of sync, so neither of Follower Guard’s flatten timers ever acts on it.

Follower Guard: optional, delayed protections

Follower Guard watches followers and can act when they drift from the leader. A follower that’s out of sync is marked in yellow but keeps receiving trades. Its actions are optional and work after a delay you set:

FlowBots’ documentation states that the two timed flatten options, out of sync and opposite side, are off by default. After any of these actions, Replikanto can disarm the follower so it stops copying until it’s rearmed, and show a message. It can also send an e-mail when a follower is disarmed, but only once NinjaTrader is set up to send e-mail: an alert address in NinjaTrader’s general options and a mail account under Share Services. Automatic disarming can be switched off.

On connections other than Rithmic, from version 1.7.1.0, the two timed flatten options first wait for NinjaTrader to finish applying the follower’s latest fills, for up to about 30 seconds. If NinjaTrader still hasn’t caught up, Follower Guard acts on the position NinjaTrader shows and logs a warning asking the trader to check the follower. Before 1.7.1.0, a follower on a connection that applies fills late, such as Tradovate, could be flattened on an out-of-date position.

These protections react after the fact. They can’t stop a broker rejecting an order, and FlowBots asks traders to check accounts after Follower Guard acts.

Rithmic position re-read

FlowBots documents a problem where NinjaTrader keeps showing a Rithmic account in a position the broker has already closed, or misses a fill. In that case, flattening the “phantom” position can open a real trade in the opposite direction. FlowBots attributes this to how Rithmic delivers position updates; we haven’t verified that explanation.

From version 1.7.0.0, with the setting on, Replikanto asks Rithmic for the account’s real position before it flattens a follower, whether through Flatten All, a follower’s Flatten button, a Close copied from the leader or Follower Guard. It also checks about a second after a fill with no position update. The setting is on by default.

FlowBots documents its limits:

FlowBots’ advice is to treat the position shown in RTrader Pro as the real one when the two disagree.

Licences, credits, refunds and terms

Replikanto is sold per computer, with a lifetime or a one-year licence. On 18 October 2026 the store showed these as sale prices, in US dollars, with no end date given:

Licence length and support are separate. Every licence includes one year of support and updates, which can be extended yearly. After that year, a lifetime licence keeps working, but new versions are included only while support and updates are active. A one-year licence stops working when it expires unless it’s renewed. We did not find an extension price in the official pages reviewed.

Internet copying uses Submit credits. FlowBots’ help centre states that users receive 20 initial testing credits, and packs range from 100 credits for $15 to 1,000,000 for $5,000. Only the leader pays: a credit is used for each order transmitted with a “Submitted” state, for each remote computer it’s sent to, while changes and cancellations are free. Local network and same-computer copying use no credits. Credits can’t be moved to another person. When they run out, nothing is sent over the internet. FlowBots doesn’t say how credits are counted when one remote computer runs several follower accounts, or whether credits expire.

The trial lasts 7 days with all features and 20 credits, and FlowBots recommends testing on Sim accounts first. Under FlowBots’ terms, a purchase can be refunded in full within 14 calendar days, once per product per person; renewals and support extensions aren’t refundable. The terms provide the software “AS IS” and cap FlowBots’ liability at the fees paid. They don’t name a legal entity, a governing law or a date.

Copying and your prop firm’s rules

FlowBots notes that some prop firms don’t allow trade copiers. Rules can differ by firm and account type and change over time, so check your firm’s current official rules before copying between accounts.
